What better way then to learn more about inspiring emerging creatives for our Representation Issue?  

In this round of ‘ The Private Lives of Geniuses’, we learn more about Alexandra Moura, a Portuguese designer who ditched a career in science to focus on unisex fashion design, making sure each piece of clothing has a defined and developed identity.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

I do not believe in perfect happiness, but I believe in genuine simplicity that brings unconditional happiness.

The lack of love

Being so picky with myself

What is something you want to accomplish in your life that you haven’t yet?

To have the monetary ability to make patronage, and help someone to work on their dream

Who or what has inspired your career the most?

I will not name any names, throughout my life and at various moments, both aesthetics and people have inspired me. I prefer to say that the human being is my inspiration, a real challenge.

What advice would you give to emerging creatives?

Be genuine in your own creation by listening to your inner creative.
