LFW AW15: Taka Naka

It’s all about the prints at Tata Naka – we always look forwards to their presentation at London Fashion Week. This is not to detract from the clothing’s actual design, where there is a light touch to the cuts and the silhouettes are feminine and un-fussed.

The collection was playful yet sophisticated with the perfect clashing combination of signature Tata Naka prints and pop colours. Metallic and suede heels and booties brought a modernity to the silhouettes, and had us lusting over the perfect pair of baby blue boots. The styling had a nod to the Asian influence, with topknots and lined eyes.

The hero piece of the collection was definitely the face-printed jacket which was greeted by a unanimous gasp as the model walked out.
The models injected the necessary cheeky touch to the collection – coyly smiling and raising their glasses of champagne to the cameras. This girl is young, fresh and beautiful and knows it, but you’d still want to befriend her. This memorable collection brought a smile to our faces and was the perfect light-hearted presentation for the final day of London Fashion Week.
