Amy Winehouse in Pictures

Ahead of the late stars 30th birthday, Proud Camden presents Amy Winehouse: For You I Was a Flame. A free exhibition curated by the Amy Winehouse Foundation and backed by her family, the collection of portraits play homage to the icon’s fleeting music career but lasting influence on music.

Holding the exhibition in the centre of Camden feels very poignant, as it was the singer’s home and favourite corner of London. Between Jake Chessum’s 2004 photographic portrait of a fresh-faced Winehouse heading for stardom and Dean Chalkley’s notorious 2011 NME cover there is an array of magnificent drawings, paintings and photographs to enjoy.

All the prints at the exhibition are for sale and money goes towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation, they will be on display at Proud Galleries London until the 6th October 2013.
