90's On Screen Style Lust: Audrey Horne

Even her eyebrows are delectable; Audrey Horne of Twin Peaks is the epitome of high school cool. What is there not to love about this classic David Lynch character, she is so sultry and so rebel-without-a-cause-marvelous. Her style matures, along with her character throughout the TV series but at the heart, there is always the girl we meet in the pilot episode who, when out of sight from her father, changes from two-tone brogues into red kitten heels then lights a cigarette. Wow.

Played by the beautiful Sherilyn Fenn, Audrey falls for Special Agent Dale Cooper, (Kyle MacLachlan), and takes it upon herself to aid him with his murder investigation – getting herself into all sorts of trouble!

Being that her Father owns the local hotel, department store and everything else in Twin Peaks, Audrey ends up being drugged up and held for ransom. She may be the poor little rich girl, but you can’t help falling for her charm and her sass. She dances like nobody’s watching and says things like “In real life there is no algebra”.  Enough said.
